Communication with clients

We advise clients on OA and refusal decisions from examiners in line with Korean examination practices.


In particular, based on the examiner's experience of the members, with a deeper understanding of the examiner's position, we visit the client in writing, by phone, or directly to provide the best comments.

Our clients have a wide range of rights in South Korea. What's more, we are constantly striving to save clients money by reducing the number of OAs or avoiding the risks that lead to rejection decisions.

​​Communication with the Korean Patent Office

Based on the experience of the examiners and judges of the members, we prepare the materials to be submitted to the JPO in consultation with the client so that the examiners and judges can be convinced.


If necessary, we actively hold interviews with examiners at the examination stage. From the viewpoint of protecting the rights of the client, we select the most suitable examiner interview (general interview, preliminary examination interview, amendment proposal review interview) and propose it to the client.

Even at the refusal appeal stage, the refereeing department holds a technical briefing session to persuade the referee so that the client's logic can be understood, and strives to acquire the rights of our clients until the end.

​Information exchange

We update and provide clients with Korean law revisions, trends in examination practices, and precedents. We participate in seminars held by the Korea Patent Office and share the latest information with our clients.
